Ashley Johnson is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and proposal development consultant who has dedicated her career to helping small service-based businesses win government contracts. With over nine years of experience leading proposals, she has established herself as an expert in bridging the gap between small businesses and government contracting opportunities.
As the founder of Creative Cresco, Johnson combines her analytical mindset with creative problem-solving to help historically underutilized businesses compete effectively in the government contracting space. Her track record includes securing over $65 million in contract awards for clients across the architecture, engineering, construction, and consulting industries.
Prior to founding Creative Cresco, Johnson held key positions at several prominent firms, including Huron Consulting Group, Marine Tiger Technologies Corporation, and Little Diversified Architectural Consulting.
These experiences provided her with deep insights into the challenges small businesses face when competing against larger firms, ultimately inspiring her mission to foster economic equity in government contracting.
Johnson's expertise spans both federal and state/local government contracting, with specialized knowledge in proposal management, capture planning, and opportunity assessment. As an Adobe Creative Suite expert, she combines technical precision with visual storytelling to develop standout proposals that help her clients break through in a competitive marketplace.
A graduate of Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Johnson holds both the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI Institute and the Proposal Management Professional (CF-APMP) certification from The Association of Proposal Management Professionals. She regularly shares her knowledge through workshops and training sessions, helping other business owners master the intricacies of government contracting.
